Assisted closure and hold positions
From every 45° angle, System 3 rotates automatically towards its hold positions at 0°, 90°, 180° or 270°.
Pivoting walls
360° rotation combined with hold positions and self-closure are ideal features for pivoting walls.
Components
A pivot door needs various components – the pivot system, a floor plate, a ceiling plate, and a top pivot.
Ceiling plates
The ceiling plate is fitted in the ceiling, where the pin of the top pivot seamlessly fits into the hole in the ceiling plate. The ceiling plate is available in two finishes: brushed stainless steel and black.
Top pivot
The top pivot is mounted into the top of the door. It uses a so-called pinhole connection, in which the pin is fixed to the top pivot and goes into the hole in the ceiling plate when the door is placed.
Floor plates
Every FritsJurgens floor plate is mounted 8 mm in the floor. This is sufficient for almost every floor type and makes it possible to combine FritsJurgens’ hinges with floor heating.
There are two floor plate designs available for System 3. You can choose for a round floor plate or a square floor plate in brushed stainless steel (Series 420). The floor plates by FritsJurgens are made of solid tempered steel and, therefore, entirely scratch resistant.
Bottom pivot
The FritsJurgens System 3 bottom pivot is a powerful pivot mechanism designed for 360° rotation, ideal for central pivot installations. Installed in the bottom side of the door, it remains almost invisible. This robust system supports pivot doors weighing up to 500 kg, ensuring smooth and reliable operation. System 3 guides the door to the nearest hold position at every 90° interval, with a total of four hold positions per full rotation.
